Every tattooer is uniquely inspired and an artist at their core - their passions poured into the pieces they produce. When an artist is able to create without limitation or pressure the results are paramount.  The pioneers of tattooing in America were inspired by the challenge of making art that was, in fact, tattoo-able. In the beginning of traditional Americana tattooing, practitioners only tattooed their own designs - brilliant, simplistic and stylized pieces they knew they could execute well on skin. This is how tattoo flash was born. By limiting customers options, tattooers were able to ensure their best work. These iconic flash designs are the core of traditional tattooing and artists today still use this method to showcase their best work - the pieces created from the artist’s unique inspiration and passion for their work.
